With these Digital-7 Plus CD ignitions, you get the legendary drag race performance of MSD's 7AL-2 ignition, and the digital technology of MSD's Digital-6 Plus, in one ignition. They deliver up to 40,000 V of sparking power for improved top-end performance, and produce multiple sparks below 3,300 rpm to improve combustion and low-end power. The powerful series of capacitive discharge multiple sparks burn for over 20 degrees of crankshaft rotation. The 15 MHz micro-controller can analyze up to 15,000,000 critical instructions per second! Features include: Two adjustable rev limiters, a single-stage retard for top-end speed or nitrous, an adjustable magnetic pickup compensation for absolute trigger accuracy, a start retard for high compression engines with locked-out ignitions, and EMI protection. The two rev limiters are adjustable via rotary dials in 100 rpm increments from 2,000-9,900 rpm, with a maximum of 12,500 rpm. The high speed retard circuit is adjustable up to 9.9 degrees. These Digital-7 Plus ignitions work with 4, 6, or 8-cylinder engines with either MSD's HVC Pro Power coil or HVC-II coil.
