Trick Flow valve cover gaskets are one-piece designs made to eliminate potential leak paths, and they have specially chosen high-temperature coatings to prevent leakage. The sealing itself is done with a reliable, temperature-resistant cork-and-rubber composition, which is molded over a tough steel core that gives extra rigidity to resist pressure and vacuum. On top of that, these gaskets are extra-thick to resist crushing. That also gives you a little extra clearance between the valvetrain and the valve cover.
